Tonbridge & Malling Green Party will host next year's Kent Greens Gathering on 19th January 2019 in Tonbridge.
We know our climate is in crisis. We know ordinary people deserve to have a say on May's botched Brexit. And we know that austerity is far from over. But what can we do? Join us for a day of workshops exploring how we can get Greens in power.
Greens in power have won council divestment from fossil fuels, brought the People's vote to the political agenda and prevented the worse of Tory cuts in communities. With more Greens elected on to councils, we can change the political agenda and start building a fairer and greener society.
All Kent members are invited for a day of workshops and networking. Lunch is included and we hope as many people as possible will help with leafleting and door-knocking in Judd Ward, our target ward and a Regional Priority Campaign.
When: Saturday 19th January 2019 10.00am - 4.00pm
Where: Tonbridge Scout Hut, Lamberts Yard, TN9 1ER, under 10 minutes walk from Tonbridge Station, accessible from Dover, Ashford, Hythe and the wider South East by train.
